Review on Book 1 of The Odessey

At first, I was very confused. Next-to-none of it made any sense to me, nor did I recognize it. So far, I think the idea behind the story is very interesting, and the idea that "gods" intermingle with humans is, I must admit, fascinating. It seems as though I've started reading in the middle of the story, seeing that half of the conversations are about problems and adventures passed. I do not quite understand all of the meaning between the lines, but yet I am eagerly awaiting the go-ahead to read the next "Book".
